When are you open?

Monday – Saturday       10am to 5pm

Thursday                          10am to 8pm (5pm all of July)

Sunday                              CLOSED

Do you close for lunch?

No

Where are you located?

We are based in Belfast on the Lisburn Road our full postal address is:- Blush Boutique, 166 Lisburn Road, Belfast, BT9 6AJ

Our new Bridal studio is located just across the road from the main store.  We will greet you in our main store first, then escort you to the studio.

Is there parking?

There is plenty of on street parking around the store.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes. Our occasion wear and Mother of the Bride/Groom are in our main store which is all ground floor.  The Bridal Studio has an elevator to the first floor.

Do you have any other stores?

No. We operate only in our Belfast Store and Online.

Do you need an appointment for Bridal?

You need to book an appointment for our Bridal Wear, Bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride or Groom. You do not need an appointment to shop our casual wear, occasion wear or formal dresses.

A Bridal/ Bridesmaids appointment lasts 1 hour 30 minutes in our Studio – A non refundable deposit of £20

A Mother of the Bride/Groom appointments lasts 1 hour and is in a private area of the store – A non refundable deposit of £15

How many people can I bring to my appointment?

For a bridal appointment we can accommodate the Bride plus a maximum of 3 others.

For Mother of The Bride or Groom you can bring yourself and 2 other guests.

How long is an appointment?

Bridal and Bridesmaids – 1hour 30 minutes

Mother of The Bride or Groom – 1 hour

Do you have evening appointments?

Our latest bridal appointment is 7.30pm on a Thursday

Our latest Mother of The Bride or Groom appointment is 7pm

What are the timeframes for a wedding dress?

This really depends on your wedding date!

If you have set a date for a year away or more, then that’s plenty of time to shop.  It may take months for you to find or decide on the dress you want.

If you want a designer couture dress then you need to allow a minimum of 7 months for your dress to be made and delivered.

If you have a date that’s less than 7 months, please call us as we may have a ready to wear dress perfect for you.

We can also check with our designers to see if a dress can be made within your time frame.

What are your size ranges?

PETITE

We don’t have petite range but our occasion wear size start from a UK 6.  Some formal dresses start from a UK4.  Our Mother of the Bride and Groom ranges start from a UK 8.

STANDARD +

In some occasion wear clothing, we go up to a size UK 20.

PLUS

Withing our Mother of the Bride/Groom department we have a plus size range UK 18 to 28

Do you sell wedding dresses?

Our Wedding dress service is both a couture made to measure service and we sell our sample wedding dresses.  The couture service will involve you having an appointment to try on various styles.  Once you have decided on your dress, we then take your measurements to have your dress made for you.  (We will soon be offering a ready to wear service)

Do you sell dresses for Mature Brides?

Yes – we can help you find something for your day.  Please book an appointment here.

Do you stock Plus Size Brides?

We do a made to measure service for our brides.

The sample dress that you try on will normally be a size 14.

If you require a size up from a 14, please contact us before your appointment date.

Do you sell veils?

Yes. If you are one of our brides, we will offer this at your appointment. 

If you are not a Blush Bride you can still purchase a veil from us. 

We will need to see you for an accessories appointment which you can do by calling us on +44 (0) 2890661101.

Do you sell bridal jewellery accessories?

No.

Do you sell Wedding Shoes, Lingerie etc.?

No

Do you do dresses for the day after the wedding?

Yes.  We have a huge range of dresses.

Do you stock Mother of the Bride/Groom?
Yes we have a wide range of Mother of the Bride/Groom from various designers.

When should I shop for Mother of Bride/Groom outfit?

We always say shop when you’re ready to buy!

This also depends on the season and if you are in the Bridal Party. 

Mother of the Bride

Summer collections arrives into store in December, and for the Winter – June. 

Wedding Guest

Spring/Summer collections arrive in February and for Winter – July.

When do new collections of Mother of the Bride/Groom arrive?

We have 2 collections each year for Mother of the Bride/Groom.

Spring/Summer

This collection will start to arrive in December and is  our biggest range.  This collection will keep filtering through until March.

Auumn/Winter

This collection will arrive from June, and will keep filtering through until August.

When does the new collection for Kevan Jon arrive?

Occasion wear stock for autumn/winter can arrive at any time from July onwards.

Mother of The Bride/Groom

Spring/Summer  – will arrive from December onwards

Autumn/Winter – will arrive from June onwards

Occasion Wear

Spring/Summer – will arrive any time from February onwards

 

Do you sell Wedding Hats?

No – but we have a range of headwear in store to match all our outfits.

These can be hired for any special event for up to 5 days to complete your look. Available only in store.

Do you stock Bridesmaids dresses?

Yes – this is by appointment only – You need to make an appointment here

Do you stock Flower Girls dresses?

No

Do you hire dresses?

No

Do you do formal dresses?

Yes we have a beautiful selection of formal gowns.  We have full length dresses for various occasions

Do you do Holy Communion dresses?

No

Would you have a dress for a hen party?

Yes – most bride to be will buy a white party dress from us!

Do you do custom dresses?

Some of our designers allow for changes and custom alterations to their wedding dresses.  Occasion dresses can sometimes have small custom changes but will depend on the designer’s discretion, fabric availability and timing.

Can I order anything out of stock?

We get a limited number of sizes so most times when it’s sold out then it can’t be bought in again. 

However, depending on time scale and availability some Mother of The Bride/Groom outfits may be re-ordered. 

Occasion Wear is less likely to be available, but you can contact us to check. 

You can subscribe to a product online that will automatically notify you when it comes back into stock.

Do you do student discount?

No

If I place an order how soon will I get it?

When you order through our online store you will see the delivery times available at the checkout stage. Usually this is Royal Mail 3-5 working days.  We offer store collection and delivery to most countries.

Do you do next day delivery?

No

How do I track my order?

We send our items using Royal Mail Post Office Services.  If you need to track an order please call us or email us and we will give you the details.

I didn’t get an email to confirm my order what should I do?

I’ve seen a dress that’s sold out online do you have it in store?

Our online stock is our Lisburn Road shop stock and warehouse stock combined.  The stock is updated as things sell in store and online to give you live stock information.

I saw a dress on Kevan Jon’s website do you have it?
Our Kevan Jon stock can be seen here.  We may not have his entire collection in our store.  If you contact us we can see if we can arrange to get the dress you want.

What is the refund policy?
Bought Online

You have 14 days to return any unworn items for a full refund.  Please read our return policy here.

Bought In Store

We do not offer refunds for in store purchases.

Items purchased in store can be exchanged for a different item or a credit note when returned within 14 days of original purchase.  The item/s being returned must be unworn and fully tagged.

How do I return an item bought online?

When your item arrives by post it will have paperwork/ delivery note inside.

At the bottom it will have the return address.

Please return your item/s to us within 14 days for a refund with all the paperwork inside.

We recommend you send back your item recorded delivery.

Do you do free returns?
